Marvellous location in very quiet area, next to Excel and City airport as well as the bar/restaurant in evening. Next door to Prince Regent Dlr. Huge & new-fashioned room with a bath.

The rooms were perfect with balcony with comfortable beds.

The room is good priced. The hotel offers nice hot and incredible breakfast with wine and great outside views, for example.

Perfectly positioned to the area we wanted to be in.

Brilliant food, very good service and spectacular view of the sea. New-fashioned rooms with comfy beds and wake-up service. Excellent and affable staff, free wake up calls and ironing.

The staff seemed efficient.

Nice sized rooms.

1. Could not open the door to the balcony. 2. The staff at breakfast were clearing 'food' away before the sitting had finished as they had a large lunchtime booking in - had to ask for bread, butter, marmite etc. 3. Asked for a pot of tea for 2 and after 15mins had to go and ask again, got put on the side so collected it myself - no milk given, so had to get a glass and use that provided for the corn flakes! 4. On speaking to the restaurant manger he tried to make things better by bringing out 3 small bread rolls with no butter - just the rolls! 5. When called hotel to check for best dlr station was not informed they were not running - ended up paying £15 for a taxi!

I found the hotel staff to be efficient and very friendly. The hotel staff are eager to help and very quick to check you in and out. We asked for an upgrade and were given one immediately.

The size of the suite was excellent. Also the quite area.

The bed was extremely soft and spent most of the night trying not to roll into the middle. fresher and more choice of pastries at breakfast required.

We didn't want to visit London and so the hotel was suitable for us. There is a dockland train station less than 5 minutes walk. Although, it is next to the City Airport we didn't ear any noise from planes. Free paking briiliant. Resturant slightly expensive.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was convenient for the O2 and canary wharf. The food was delicious and always hot and tasty and served very quickly, even room service.

Nearly all the furniture in the hotel is worn out, marked, damaged old and dated etc. Whatever is used to clean the pipes for the draft beer makes every single one of the draft beers taste like hotdog water/brine. We had to drink bottled products and go to the pub next door if we wanted a drink from the bar.

We chose it for it's proximity to the O2 and the DLR and it proved very convenient for both. Evening meal in restaurant was good.

As in many large hotel other guests a little inconsiderate i.e. banging doors, noisy returning in evening. Hotel furnishings a little tired.

Extraordinary breakfast buffet. Modern style rooms. Only about 30 minutes to city center. Free parking.

Unfriendly reception personel. 2 times there was a loud dispute between staff members. Some employees seemed to be new and unexperienced.

Convenient Stay with Comfortable Amenities

We enjoyed the charming on-site bar and its cozy ambience. The room, a spacious queen, offered a peaceful retreat after our daily excursions. Note, Keep your travel plans in mind, as public transport options nearby require a longer walk.
